Large hand carved baroque tabernacle with angels, Italy circa 1650-1750
Unique tabernacle with its original color and traces of gilding.
On this amazing period piece are 3 angels visible and John the baptist holding the lamb god.
Italy, circa 1650- 1750.
Weathered, small losses and old repairs. Ofcourse this item had suffered a bit through the centuries and has flaky paint but this to my opinion only adds value to the piece. Traces of inactive woodworm. (Treated)
